Approach

The destination IS the journey! While other health & wellness coaches may focus on exercise and nutrition alone, my approach is based upon aligning your mind and soul with your movement. I will meet you exactly where you’re at. I know what it feels like to be stuck and I also know what it’s like to take too many steps at a time. 

Powered by the engine of movement, our journey together will consist of fun and transformative steps forward.

 

Step #1: Embrace.

You may be familiar with the quote, “Wherever you go, there you are” – Jon Kabat-Zinn. If you’re thinking you’ll be much happier with yourself after you lose that weight or make other changes, it rarely happens that way. We’ll begin this journey embracing the powerful practice of self-compassion and love so that all your steps forward are infused with joy instead of denial or punishment.

 

Step #2: Celebrate.

Your health transformation is uniquely yours and is meant to be filled with confidence, freedom and joy. Before moving forward, we’ll celebrate what’s already working for you. This is probably my favorite step of the journey in some ways. It’s so easy to discount our past successes, yet they are important fuel for our future triumphs. Besides, celebrations are fun!

 

Step #3: Align.

We’ll also take important time to get your game on! Together we’ll uncover your strengths, values and reframe any limiting beliefs that may have held you back in the past.

 

Step #4: Explore.

As we build upon what’s already working for you, we’ll move forward with each fun and transformative step. Think of each step as an experiment, almost like trying on clothing. You’ll know rather quickly if it’s a good fit. The only failure is not trying at all!

  • Nourishing your movement; activating the superpower of nutrition.

  • Resting during movement; activating the superpower of relaxation and restoration.

  • Recovering after movement; activating the power of sleep.

  • Connecting with others through movement; activating the superpower of community.

 

Step #5: Move Forward.

Our journey together will end with a full toolbox that will support and enhance your vibrant new lifestyle. You’ll move forward with confidence, freedom & joy, feeling fully equipped for your next steps.
